XIAOLONG LIU
Xiaolong Liu is a cinematographer born in China, raised in Stuttgart, Germany, and currently based in Los Angeles. With a distinctive and expressive visual language, Xiaolong has worked on campaigns for brands including Apple, Nike, Mercedes-Benz, Coca-Cola, and Adidas. In the music video world, his creative collaborations include work with Kendrick Lamar (winning the 2025 MTV Video Music Award for Best Cinematography for ‘Not Like Us’), Lady Gaga (nominated in the same category for ‘Abracadabra’), The Weeknd, Beyoncé, and Billie Eilish. Most recently, Xiaolong wrapped an independent feature film in Kazakhstan with director Aisultan Seitov and photographed the pilot for an upcoming Hulu/Disney series scheduled to air in late 2026.
