Nominees Unveiled for the 2026 FilmLight CAMERIMAGE Colour Awards

22 nominees selected across five categories, with winners to be announced at the International Film Festival ToruńCAMERIMAGE on 8 November.

London  – 22 October 2026:

Celebrating six years of excellence in colour grading, the 2026 FilmLight CAMERIMAGE Colour Awards honour twenty-two nominees whose artistry and creative vision have brought distinctive visual worlds to life across five categories. This year’s awards also mark an expanded partnership with the ToruńCAMERIMAGE festival.

The shortlist was selected by an international jury of cinematographers, colourists and directors, led by Jury President and award-winning cinematographer and director Sean Price Williams.

For the first time this year, alongside the awards ceremony, the festival will host a special screening of the winning project in the Spotlight category at the Horzyca Theatre screening room.

“It’s been an inspiration, even above the honour, to judge the FilmLight Colour Awards nominees this year.” says Williams. “The work we have seen amplifies the fact that the colorists tools and technology develop according to their artistic ambitions, a great evolution in the film industry. Our jury consisted of artists with experience and distinction. All conversation was stimulating, and the considerations, thoughtful. The spectrum did not allow obvious winners.
The skill and taste exhibited in the choices have already changed how I work. I can only hope that future works by all these great crafts people are examined so closely not just by juries, but by the greater public. It’s worth it!”
