JIN-YOUNG PARK
Jin-young Park is a South Korean colourist with over two decades of experience in feature films and premium streaming. Her credits include The Fortress, Parasite (Black-and-White Version), Decision to Leave, Exhuma, Netflix’s Squid Game Seasons 2 & 3, and most recently, Na Hong-jin’s HOPE. The Fortress holds special significance for the Color Awards: cinematographer Kim Ji-yong won the Golden Frog, the top prize at the 2018 EnergaCAMERIMAGE festival, for the film.
Park treats colour as an essential language of cinematic storytelling, collaborating closely with directors and cinematographers to deepen each project’s emotional impact. As a juror, she looks forward to celebrating exceptional colour work by filmmakers worldwide.
