Máté Ternyik, Senior Freelance Colourist

MÁTÉ TERNYIK

Máté Ternyik is a colourist based in Budapest, Hungary. He worked at The Mill and Unit in London, before moving back to Budapest and taking on a role at the Hungarian National Filmlab. Since going freelance in 2019, Máté has graded a number of critically acclaimed features including Ildikó Enyedi’s ‘Silent Friend’ (2025), Sophie Romvari’s ‘Blue Heron’ (2025), and Brady Corbet’s ‘The Brutalist’ (2024), which was recognised with an Academy Award for Cinematography and earned him a FilmLight Colour Award in 2025. Most recently he worked on ‘The Testament of Ann Lee’ (2025) and the upcoming ‘Wicker’ (2026).
